Mastering the fundamentals of influencer marketing
Influencer marketing is everywhere… but do you really know what it entails and how to leverage it effectively? What goals should you aim for: brand awareness, brand image, or conversion? How do you choose the right influencers, collaborate with the right partners, and maintain the right level of control? Between opportunities and risks, what are the real success factors and the metrics to track to steer your efforts over the long term?
The IÉSEG Network Career Development Center invites you to a conference to discover the fundamentals of influencer marketing and enhance the effectiveness of your efforts.
Methodology:
This conference will be led by:
§ Gwarlann de KERVILER, tenured professor of marketing at IÉSEG and a graduate of ESSEC (MSc), Harvard Business School (MBA), and Dauphine University (PhD). She is also an expert in influencer marketing and author of the book published in 2025:
Successful Influencer Marketing: How to Get Brands, Influencers, and Communities to Collaborate on Social Media
§ Marion MIN, an IÉSEG graduate and CEO of GRAVITY, who also contributed to the writing of Gwarlann’s book.
Through a clear and accessible educational approach, this conference is aimed at anyone responsible for defining, monitoring, negotiating, and optimizing persuasive communication strategies, as well as anyone curious to better understand the mechanisms of influence.
For this conference, Gwarlann and Marion will use a structured approach combining:
- An overview of the influencer marketing landscape (ecosystem, challenges, and principles),
- An analysis of key success factors and best practices for collaborating with influencers,
- Concrete recommendations for selecting the most relevant profiles,
- An introduction to performance metrics for managing and evaluating your campaigns,
- A Q&A session to address your questions.
Workshop Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Better understand current influencer strategies,
- Take a critical look at their practices,
- Identify concrete levers for optimization.
