Pauline Ardaens (Grande École 2009) - As luck would have it

Although she joined IÉSEG for her first year, Pauline enjoyed the Lille campus premises for only 2 years and a half. With an exchange in China during her third year, followed by an Erasmus in Germany for her fourth year, it is easy to guess why Pauline chose to live abroad. For her, Munich started as one possibility among several others. However, it is with a smile that she shared one of her thoughts with us: "I ended up in Munich by chance, but it was my choice to stay." Discover how she got there.

BRÂAM - The call of the good life in the office

Alexis de Loynes founded BRÂAM in 2017 with his former colleague Yann Simon. The idea was to give a new sense of meaning to office break times. BRÂAM soon made its mark itself with the “green” lines it offers. You won’t find Coke, Twix or Nutella - all its products are delicious, healthy and completely natural (coffee beans, snacks sold loose, seasonal fruit etc.). BRÂAM produces homemade assortments of top-quality snacks, coffee and baskets of fruits.

Accepting what is

Within this period of crisis, contrary to appearances, life itself does not stop. Let’s take inspiration from nature which is quietly moving into spring, indifferent to the troubles of mankind. Think of this unexpected period of downtime in your life as a time of gestation, an essential prelude to growth. What we become tomorrow will depend on the seeds we sow today in our hearts and in our lives. So why not just accepting what is?

100% remote learning for a school?

In the light of the current situation, IÉSEG has been able to react effectively to implement solutions for the containment period. For example, the implementation of online courses was a great success and is a testament to the quick thinking of the School. Following President Emmanuel Macron’s speech, on Thursday, March 12, IÉSEG ensured that everything was ready to start on Monday, March 16. All the staff worked together to make this possible: training teachers, sending out information on how it would work and ensuring the technical capacity was in place. It has been a real test of strength, althought this is only the tip of the iceberg...
