Florine Spiga - Pushing herself to the limits

Florine (Grande École 2019) had just graduated from IÉSEG, when she took up her first challenge in March 2020. While the world had slowed down to live at the rhythm of the pandemic, she decided to run the half-marathon she had registered for, despite the fact it had been cancelled. Since then, she’s been unstoppable! Her next challenge will be the Lapland Trophy, an all-women charity race in which participants push themselves to their limits in -30°C. She is doing it to raise money to fight breast cancer.

Biernard, the beer expert in your pocket

Have you ever wondered what the perfect beer tastes like? One that feels like it was brewed especially for you? With Biernard, Amine Boubrik (Grande École 2016) has the answer to this question. And it couldn’t be simpler: it gets you to answer a short questionnaire to find out your tastes, and then suggests the beers most likely to appeal to you. And as a bonus it also flags up those brewed near you!

Intercultural Engagement IÉSEG in March

ICIE (IÉSEG Center of excellence for Intercultural Engagement) is organising its 2021 Intercultural Engagement week from March 15 to 18. The event will address a variety of themes linked to teaching, corporate and student commitment, research, and the challenges of personal and professional life more generally in a globalised environment. Two major events are planned for this week. On Tuesday, March 16 there will be a workshop on “Diversity and Inclusion in Business: Why and How?". Then on Thursday, March 18 a round table is scheduled on the theme “Cultures and identities in the VUCA world”.

Our Network is taking action for the planet

Many of you are concerned about issues revolving around the idea of sustainable development (social and environmental responsibility, ethical business, organizational ethics, circular economy, etc.). We are aware that this is now a major preoccupation and have therefore decided to set up a club to bring together different initiatives on this subject to meet your needs. The festivities keep going! After the success of the FFA aperitif, we propose you a new online networking event with Wepicurien, founded by Romain Vesse Letoffe (Grande École 2017). For IÉSEG Network's 50^th anniversary, chef Maxime Moïse has imagined and created a recipe around a wine selected with #Passion by Wepicurien. Connected by Zoom, we will meet for a unique moment of #Sharing around producing well, drinking well & eating well. You will be invited to cook (if you feel like it) and taste the wine and local products in your box, which you will receive beforehand.
