IÉSEG Network
Have you heard of Le Wagon? It’s the legendary training course said to be the best in the world for web development. From May, IÉSEG Network is
offering three online modules that will allow you to develop your web skills. Whether you want to access the know-how to support the digital
transformation of your business, or take part in developing tech start-ups, these online modules will definitely help you move forward. Each
module has between 25 to 30 hours of training in English, to follow at your own pace.
These are the modules on offer:
✔ Develop your responsive website
✔ Go from PowerPoint to Prototype with UX/UI Design
✔ Data Analysis: From Excel to Python (expert level)
Open to all alumni - €15 per module for contributors/€30 for non-contributors - you have until May 31 to register for the virtual class in June.
If the timing doesn’t suit you, the good news is there’s a session starting every month!
Sophie Cocheril & Alice Gevaert - Two individuals, two career paths but one passion: people
Sophie and Alice are both graduates of IÉSEG - respectively Grande École 2007 and Grande École 2004. Although they’d kept in touch,
it was the doTERRA company that brought them together again almost two years ago, through their fascination with people. This
essential oils company persuaded them to get into network marketing, while also working on their own businesses. Read about their
journey and find out how they came to be involved with doTERRA, a company that has won its customers’ hearts.
Pimp My Team - The company which brought a new twist to the business of advertising
Pimp My Team was set up in 2012 by two friends, Charles-Henri Carton and Aurélien Chiquet (both Grande École 2015). The pair were students at IÉSEG
when they had the idea of bringing a new twist to the business of advertising on products and textiles, by giving it meaning, appeal and
sustainability. Today Pimp My Team is a VSE employing 12 people, which imports and personalises thousands of products such as drinking bottles,
mugs, t-shirts, notebooks, and even speakers, for its customers, to help them build customer and/or employee loyalty. It is currently applying
for a B Corp® label as a measure of its social commitment.
Taking care of yourself in lockdown
To help you get through the current health crisis, IÉSEG has launched the www.takecare.ieseg.fr site. The brainchild of Maria Castillo,
CSR Manager at IÉSEG, and developed with the support of several members of staff, the site aims to provide resources to help us all move
forward together despite the current situation. You can find tips for managing your emotional health and for tele-working. You can also
find out how to stay active, to help others, and to stay in touch with the IÉSEG community. It’s a great opportunity to connect and help
one another.
Keep us updated by doing yourself a favour!
Did you know that by updating your profile regularly, you are doing yourself a huge service? If your profile is up to date, the IÉSEG community
can contact you with questions or on subjects that directly concern you. It ensures letters that we send to you are sent to the right address.
That way there is no lost or returned mail. The emails you receive are the one you chose. It only takes a few minutes, you just need to log into
your IÉSEG Network account. Isn’t that incentive enough to check if your personal and professional information is up to date?
Inspiring nature
It feels as if nature has sprung back to life, putting on an incredibly beautiful show in a silence that is almost deafening... If you need to
manage your anxiety, be patient, accept what is or face whatever other situation, take a fresh look at nature and be inspired by its mysteries
to learn all the lessons you need to get back on track after this period of confinement.
Awards move online
The Entrepreneur 2020 prize has been disrupted by Covid19 and the awards ceremony, originally scheduled for March 17, has been cancelled.
However, we couldn’t wait to find out the two winners of this year's edition, so we decided to organise the 2020 prize online. It will take
place on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Over the course of the afternoon, the six finalists will present their projects to our jury of experts via Zoom.
This will be followed by the award ceremony: €8,000 from Caisse d’Epargne will go to the IÉSEG entrepreneur of 2020, and there is a prize
of €3,000, given by IÉSEG Network, for the jury's favourite.
