Welcome on board to Virginie Pellegrino who joined the IÉSEG Network team, as office assistant, on October 19. Virginie, who is from Belgium, left her native Ardennes to study communications in Liège, before crossing the border to live in France, first in Paris. Three years ago she fell in love with Lille and decided to settle there. A talented linguist - she speaks French, English, Dutch, Italian and Japanese - she is naturally drawn to the international market. Outside of work, she can usually be found in a tea room, a book in one hand, mint tea in the other.

Aurélie Wattebled & Claire Delabre - A meaningful challenge

One comes from Grenoble and lives in the Lille region, the other is from northern France and now lives in Flanders, Belgium. Aurélie & Claire (both Grande École 2007) however have a lot in common, including their IÉSEG journey which they both began in 2002. But it’s their love for great outdoors that seals their friendship. In 2019, they challenge themselves: they decide to be a part of the Raid Amazon 2021! For that matter, they will have to push themselves to participate in sportive and intense activities. A human adventure for a good cause. Find out all about their adventure here.

Théo Robache - Helping people find their voice

Théo (Grande École 2016) has taken on one project after another in the Bordeaux region and he's loving it! He started with Pompon, a podcast about unusual and inspiring entrepreneurs who are just starting out. He set it up just for fun but one thing led to another and he began doing it for other companies. At the same time and as someone who loves public speaking, he started a training course to teach the skill to others! It was listening to entrepreneurs pitching an interesting project in an uninspiring way that made him realise he could make a difference. We turn the spotlight on an entrepreneur who is inspired by passing on ideas and meeting people.

Using IÉSEG CONSEIL is a guarantee of the quality of the services provided with a personalised follow-up throughout the study as well as the delivery of relevant analysis, which allows it to achieve a customer satisfaction rate of 95%. We take a look at a student association that provides a fresh perspective on the business world.

Launch of the CliftonStrengths 34 Coaching Club

What will happen when we think about what is right with people rather than fixating on what is wrong with them?” - Don Clifton, Founder of the CliftonStrengths 34 Test.
But yes. It is a change of mindset, focusing on people's strengths rather than their weaknesses! Since 2019, Elizabeth Toucas, certified in CliftonStrengths Coaching, has helped several graduates to discover their strengths profile. The alumni who have benefited from this service and are aware of the philosophy and power of this tool, now have a CliftonStrengths 34 Coaching Club! Its aim? To create a community to share information and learn from each other. Do you also want to find out your CliftonStrengths profile and join this new Club? Get in touch with Elizabeth who will be happy to carry out your coaching debrief.

Making sens of the uncertainty

2020 has shown us that a VUCA world - volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous - is the new norm and looks set to continue. The crisis has revealed new practices and has enabled everyone to reinvent themselves. The approach to finding a new job is no different and has changed significantly. The challenge, now more than ever, is to develop an ability to adapt to dynamic, complex and unpredictable situations. In short, this amounts to making sense of the uncertainty!

Speakers of excellence at the service of digital and training

The Digital Marketing and Innovation Club organised in association with ESSEC Alumni, Télécom Paris Alumni and HEC Alumni, the G9+ Institute on the theme of “Digital for training now and in the future”, with French Education Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer among the speakers. The event, which took place in front of a live audience at the IÉSEG's Paris campus and remotely via Zoom, was an opportunity to take stock of digitalisation in the field of learning and training, the benefits it can bring both now and in the future, and the issue seen from a European perspective. With such top-level speakers it was an extremely illuminating experience!
