On 9
December, 4 companies represented by IESEG graduates were heard by the
jury, final event of the competition. The latter consisted of:
• Benjamin CONSTANT (President of IÉSEG Network, IÉSEG 1996)
• Arnaud Monnier (ALTIMA, IÉSEG 1996)
• Christophe GARONNE (Director of IÉSEG incubator)
• Abraham Thomas (Head of incubator operations Lille and Paris & entrepreneur)
Following the hearings, the jury decided to award the check for €
2,000 to Clément CASTELLI (IÉSEG 2011) and Paul ALARCON (IÉSEG former
student) for their online kitchen garbage project "EUGENE". It supports
individuals from the waste sorting to the shopping delivery. Connected
through Wi-Fi to a mobile application, and equipped with a camera, a
screen and weight sensors, Eugene tells the user how to properly sort
their waste, measure their recycling rate and makes waste sorting more
fun and efficient.
A big thank you to everyone for their
participation. We wish them good luck. In our next newsletter we will
provide you with some news about the finalists. See you next year for
