Sorry, this content is not available in English

Have you thought of becoming a student again in 2021? For several years now, IÉSEG Network has offered a range of services that allow you to continue training throughout your career. The BACK TO IÉSEG - Master electives program lets you get back to the lecture theatre four mornings a week, with the School's Masters students. There are more than 20 courses on offer with a variety of themes « Environmental marketing », « Blockchain for business » or even « Practicing 360 degree innovation ».
From last month, this program has been supplemented by the BACK TO IÉSEG - E-MBA electives program. Alumni with more than five years of managerial experience can now participate in the elective sessions of the IÉSEG E-MBA program, with courses taking place over two full days (Friday and Saturday). It’s a great way to find out all about this program and meet the students and alumni of our E-MBA.
And finally, thanks to our partnership with Le Wagon, a coding school, you can develop your web skills by joining a virtual class each month on one of the three online modules on offer (web development, Python or UX/UI design).

Find out about our Lifelong Learning offer!

Damien Convers - Right on target

Fate played a part when Damien (Grande École 2017) was looking for an experience for his apprenticeship training and discovered Stella Loisirs. He felt a real affinity for the company and its manager which is what finally convinced him this was the right choice for him. After his master, he continued to work for Stella Loisirs with a V.I.E. in Germany before coming back to France. Watch his video profile to find out more about his association with the company which has so far lasted for more than four years and shows no sign of coming to an end!

Belle Graine - Life always finds its way

Belle Graine is an idea that took root in Benjamin Vincent's imagination (Executive MBA 2018). Looking for a way to provide new born baby gifts to appeal to mums and babies while respecting Mother Nature, he came up with the perfect package box: a metal box for keepsakes containing a bodysuit and a bib in organic cotton as well as a notebook made of recycled cardboard and paper. And good news, Benjamin doesn't plan to stop there! Find out what’s in store for this blooming brand.

Take a look back to THE economical conference of IÉSEG

IÉSEG was pleased to host the traditional economic conference which analysed the Economic Perspectives for 2021. Due to the current situation the conference was held online and proposed at two different dates and times. This organisation allowed more than 250 participants to attend this conference led by Eric Dor, Director of Economics Studies at IÉSEG. A lot of questions were asked about bankruptcy and job loss, the bank resilience to absorb the risk of defaulting payments, etc. Professor in Economic Sciences, Eric Dor has a large field of expertise in monetary and financial macroeconomics, and economics of the financial crisis and a log experience in the practice of international business cycle analysis.

Spotlight on Post Graduate Programs

Another new item on the IÉSEG Network menu for 2021 is PGP Alumni Spotlight! These are intra-program meetings between students and alumni from Post Graduate Programs, on Zoom. The aim is to create a networking space within each program to strengthen student links with the corporate world and alumni, promote their integration into France and the job market and consolidate their sense of belonging to IÉSEG. During these Zoom meetings, alumni will talk about their backgrounds and students will be able to ask any questions they might have, thus raising a variety of useful themes.

Embracing vulnerability…

Most of us have been taught not to show any sign of vulnerability… Why is that? It’s because vulnerability is too often associated with weakness... Contrary to what you might think, being able to show vulnerability is an essential way of taking the pressure off, overcoming difficulties, better connecting with others and, paradoxically, feeling stronger… What if we look at it from a different angle?

2021, an outstanding year for the Entrepreneurs Club

The Entrepreneurs Club has a dedicated LinkedIn group since a few months now. This project has generated a real craze and more than 300 members have already joined it. In order to continue this good start, Théo Robache (Grande École 2016), Antoine Elias (GÉ 2018) and Nicolas Maire (GÉ 2013) - the Club's representatives – organized on Tuesday, January 26 a virtual aperitif. On this occasion, about thirty entrepreneurs gathered to introduce themselves and explain their projects, motivations and interests. The next steps were also discussed and the date of February 23 was set for the next event: a webinar on "How to create an impactful pitch". Mark your calendars!
