Sorry, this content is not available in English

2021 has only just begun and already there’s good news. IÉSEG Network is celebrating its 50th birthday. Founded in 1971 by alumni volunteers, the association has grown considerably since then. We’ve decided to mark the occasion with various events throughout the year. The official launch of IÉSEG Network’s 50th birthday will take place on Thursday, February 4. In partnership with the FFA - the French Federation of Aperitif, created by Quentin Chapuis (Grande École 2010), we invite you to join us for an online tasting... Intriguing, isn't it?
In the meantime, the entire IÉSEG Network team wishes you a Happy New Year for 2021 and is ready to help you with all your projects.

Romain Taupin - Between Padel and figures

Does Padel Tennis mean anything to you? This sport, which originates in Spain, is taking France and Europe by storm. At the centre of this growing craze, you’ll find Romain (Grande École 2013) who cleverly combines his knowledge of this new sport with his skill with figures. But how do you get from IÉSEG to Padel? Romain explained all when he looked back on his very unusual career.

Revlys - Eco-responsible travels in France

Holidaying closer to home and supporting local businesses are already important considerations. Revlys offers tailor-made trips in France, for individuals and business travellers alike. The company’s founders Axel Fenaux (Grande École 2016) and Solène Loeur (Grande École 2018) advocate travelling light, both literally and figuratively. They offer eco-responsible (100% carbon neutral) ready-to-go solutions, with a personal touch.

Conference: National and International Economic Outlook 2021 (in French)

What with Brexit, a US presidential election worthy of a political thriller, and a pandemic that we shan’t mention, it would be an understatement to say that 2020 was a year full of twists and turns. And now 2021 is already timidly creeping into view, with its share of joys and sorrows. But what are the economic prospects for the next 12 months? Come and take part in one of Eric DOR's conferences on Monday, January 18 (6pm) or Thursday, January 21 (12.30pm) to find out. It will discuss in particular economic stimulus plans, tax and austerity policies and the consequences of Brexit. What better way to start 2021 than by getting a global vision of the economic challenges to come.

Graduate’s Talk: The new meet-up for graduate / students

Do you remember that period of questioning and uncertainty that you probably went through as a student? You wondered if you had chosen the right path? What career might it lead to? Or just who could answer your questions? It is precisely with this in mind that we launched the Graduate’s Talks last November. Hosted by Henri Hecquet, Masters student and student representative on the IÉSEG Network Board of Directors, these one-hour meetings take place on weekday lunchtimes. In each talk, a graduate describes his career and his experiences. The event then continues with a Q&A session. Check out the first two sessions now. Would you like to add some input yourself?

Managing and keeping hold of the Chimp spirit

We’ve all reacted impulsively at one time or another and been overwhelmed by our emotions in stressful situations. Do you know who is responsible for this behaviour? It’s our inner Chimp! That’s right, the Chimp is the part of our brain that influences our decisions, our emotions and our interactions with those around us on a daily basis ...

The wonders of cosmetics

Forget the austere packaging of the beauty products in the organic section of your favourite shops! It’s still possible to enjoy a little indulgence while taking care of your health and the planet. Camille Brégeaut and Clémentine Granet (both Grande École 2015) proved this when they created Les Petits Prödiges in 2017. It’s a 100% natural cosmetics brand that has already won over hundreds of thousands of customers with its intoxicating scents and colourful designs. After reading this interview, you are bound to be won over too - that’s if you haven’t been already!
