[WORKSHOP] SAFARI Career: Track down the gray rhino and dance with the black swan
THEMATIC WORKSHOP
SAFARI Career:
Track down the gray rhino and dance with the black swan
Some professional events arrive like a black swan: elegant, unpredictable, and rarely announced. Others advance like a gray rhino: massive, obvious... and strangely ignored. The most surprising thing? We sometimes pretend not to see them. Yet they influence our choices and reshape our priorities without even asking our opinion. What if you could finally learn to spot these "visitors" before they settle in? It could change the way you anticipate the rest of your journey. So dare to embark on a safari like no other to track down the gray rhinoceros and the black swan! And for animal lovers, don't worry, no harm will come to them!
Workshop objective:
This workshop, organized by the IÉSEG Network Career Development Center, aims to raise awareness about your career path and help you:
- Distinguish between a black swan and a gray rhino in your own career path.
- Identify your areas of risk and opportunity in the short/medium term.
- Detect the weak signals you are unaware of (skills, attitude, market, life choices).
- Build a realistic and motivating mini personal action plan if you wish!
Methodology:
This workshop will be led by Elizabeth TOUCAS, Executive Strengths Coach and Head of Career Development at IÉSEG Network, who will ensure that the workshop remains strictly confidential, guaranteeing everyone the freedom to express their questions, doubts, or intuitions without judgment or exposure.
The workshop is based on an active, fast-paced, and progressive teaching method that constantly alternates between individual reflection, collective intelligence, and real-life scenarios. After a preliminary presentation of the concepts of black swans and gray rhinos, participants are invited to take a step back and look at their own trajectories to identify their weak signals and blind spots, before comparing their perceptions with those of the group.
Collective work acts as a powerful revelator: what may seem very personal can often become a shared issue. 😊
