Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

My name is Baptiste Schneider, I’m 21 years old, originally from Brive-la-Gaillarde, and I grew up in Angers. I’m a competitive kart racing driver and a Master in Management student at IÉSEG School of Management. Balancing high-level sport and academics has been part of my daily life for several years now, it’s a discipline I’ve learned both on the track and in the classroom.

What program are you pursuing at IÉSEG?

Next year, I will be entering the Master’s cycle of the Grande École Program with a specialization in General Management and Strategy Consulting. What I enjoy most about this path is the strategic approach: understanding an environment, identifying the right levers, and making the best decisions. In reality, that’s exactly what I do in karting as well : analyzing every situation in order to perform. Both worlds complement and enrich each other.

When did you start karting and how did you discover the sport?

Karting is first and foremost a family story. My father was himself a kart driver and later a gentleman race car driver, and he was the one who passed on his passion for motorsport to me. Growing up in that environment naturally led me to develop a love for speed and competition. What truly drew me to the discipline afterwards was its level of demand: analyzing every situation, every corner, every opponent, that is the foundation on which every driver is built. It’s no coincidence that all Formula 1 drivers and competitors in the top categories started there.

What have been your greatest achievements?

My greatest achievement remains winning the 2025 French NSK Championship in the DD2 category, which is my category and the national benchmark in karting. This title opened the doors to the French Rotax Team, with whom I represented my country at the World Championships in Bahrain. It is an immense source of pride to wear the French colors on the international stage. During that same season, I also achieved 4 victories, 4 podium finishes, 3 pole positions, and the best result among French drivers at the RMC International Trophy (RMCIT) in just 9 races.

You are currently preparing for the Porsche Carrera Cup France. What is it, and why did you choose this challenge?

The Porsche Carrera Cup France is Porsche’s official one-make championship in France. All drivers compete in identical 911 GT3 Cup cars, which guarantees complete technical equality, only my performance makes the difference. It is a highly publicized championship and a recognized pathway toward professional GT racing and international endurance competition. Drivers such as Kévin Estre, Mathieu Jaminet, and Julien Andlauer followed this route before joining Porsche’s factory driver program. For me, it is the next logical and most ambitious step to continue progressing toward the highest level of motorsport.

What is the Porsche Junior France Program?

The Porsche Junior Programme France is one of the most selective talent identification programs in motorsport. Porsche France evaluates candidates on many criteria: pure performance, learning ability, physical and cognitive preparation, media skills, motivational interviews, English proficiency, and professionalism. My objective is clear: successfully transition from karting to car racing, prove myself competitive during driver tests and in one or several races within recognized development series such as the Porsche Sprint Challenge France, and earn a place in this program, the gateway to a career as a factory driver.

You are currently looking for sponsors to make your participation possible. How can people support you?

The reality of motorsport is that even with the best performances, without funding, you simply cannot race. A season in the Porsche Carrera Cup represents a minimum budget of €250,000, including entry fees, the technical team, travel expenses, physical and mental preparation, and communication. I am looking for partners willing to join my project at a key moment in my career.

In return, I offer concrete visibility opportunities: logos on my car and racing equipment, content on my social media platforms, company appearances, webinars, and more. Beyond that, partner companies can also become directly involved in the project during race weekends by organizing seminars or developing their network. In the long term, my ambitions are aimed at the biggest stages of international motorsport: the DTM, ELMS, GT World Challenge, and the WEC, and ultimately, achieving the goal I have worked toward my entire life: winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
